2. What this website does and does not do
This website does not use web analytics, advertising pixels, social media plugins, externally hosted fonts or content delivery networks. It sets no cookies that require consent. There is no user tracking and no automated profiling of any kind.
3. Server log files
When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically records technical information transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, referrer URL, browser type and version, and operating system. This data is required to deliver the website and to maintain its security and stability.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable operation of the website. Log data is not merged with other data sources and is deleted once it is no longer required for these purposes.
4. Booking request form
If you submit a booking request via our Request dates form, we process the information you enter: company name, contact name, email address, telephone number, preferred performance dates, package and accommodation preferences, number of travellers, rooming requirements and any free-text message.
This data is used solely to process your enquiry, to file the request with the Passion Play Office where applicable, and to provide you with a quotation. It is transmitted to us by email and stored in the website database.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures at your request). Where a booking results, retention periods under German commercial and tax law apply, which may require storage for up to ten years. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted once they are no longer needed.
5. Recipients of your data
Your data is processed by our hosting provider on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. To fulfil a booking, data may be shared with the Passion Play Office in Oberammergau, with the hotels allocated to your booking, and with our sister company Compass Tours Incoming where the booking is handled as tour operator business. No data is sold or passed on for advertising purposes.
6. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, the information you provide is stored to process your enquiry and any follow-up questions. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the contact relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
7. Your rights
You have the right to obtain information about the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16), to have data erased (Art. 17), to restrict processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
